The Patient Contract Paper

These conditions cover appointments and services arranged with Seha Clinic Ltd. Alongside them runs the written confirmation you receive when a booking is made.

Current version

The clinic and the patient

Contracts run between Seha Clinic Ltd (Companies House No. 17431552, Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London E17 3NU) and the individual booking the appointment. The clinic's terms here and the booking confirmation together form the whole agreement.

When a booking counts

A booking is made when the clinic confirms it by phone or email with a time slot, and is confirmed in law once the appointment is attended or payment for the first session is received. Any special arrangements are noted on the confirmation.

Pricing and settling invoices

Prices are stated in British pounds at the appointment. Invoices are due within fourteen days of issue. Delay past that date brings statutory interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

Moving or cancelling an appointment

Give twenty-four hours' notice and there is no charge. Late cancellations or missed appointments can be invoiced at half the session price, a common clinical courtesy rule stated here so no one is surprised.

Changes to a course of care

Clinical decisions belong in the consultation room. Any extension of a treatment plan is agreed during attendance and priced before it begins; nothing is added silently.

Quiet matters

Patient details, reasons for visits and correspondence stay confidential within the clinic. This duty continues after any engagement ends, in line with the clinic's privacy position.

What the clinic answers for

Liability for breaches is limited to fees paid for the appointment concerned. Losses that arise indirectly, such as travel or lost earnings, are excluded as far as law permits; nothing reduces responsibility for negligence causing personal injury.

The law of these terms

England and Wales law governs, and the ordinary courts handle disputes. Speak to the clinic first in writing, so that a complaint has every chance of ending at reception rather than at court.
